About the Role


GPW Recruitment is thrilled to present an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Blantyre, Scotland. This role offers a unique chance to work with a leading infrastructure services provider in the Energy Transmission & Distribution sector.


Salary and Benefits


The successful candidate will receive an estimated salary of £60,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. The role also offers a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life assurance, and generous annual leave allowance.


Key Responsibilities


As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing construction costs and developing project budgets;
  • Ensuring timely delivery of projects and meeting client expectations;
  • Developing strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders;
  • Providing expert advice on construction cost management and budgeting;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently.

Requirements


To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Energy Transmission & Distribution sector;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field;
  • Chartered status (e.g., MRICS) is desirable but not essential.
