Job Title: Travel Retail Liquor Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your expertise in liquor and spirits to offer personalized recommendations and guidance to customers, catering to their preferences and helping them discover new and exciting varieties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment, answering inquiries, and addressing customer needs promptly and courteously.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest liquor trends, distilleries, and production methods in order to provide the most accurate and relevant information to customers.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing inventory display, ensuring all the products are properly labelled, well-stocked, and attractively presented.
  • Actively contribute to the growth and success of the different brands that you work on through suggestive selling, initiating product promotions, and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable passion for liquor and spirits, with in-depth knowledge of different varieties.
  • Strong understanding of the retail industry, with previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, actively listening to customers' needs and offering tailored recommendations accordingly.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and expand knowledge about liquor and spirits, attending training sessions, and staying informed about industry developments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accurate inventory management and maintaining a visually appealing environment.
