About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced academic leader to lead our BA(Hons) Social Work programme at the University of Northampton.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop and deliver high-quality research-informed teaching and learning opportunities for students
  • To provide excellent supervision and mentorship to staff members
  • To contribute to the development of academic programmes and curricula

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and research, as well as experience of leading teams and managing projects.

Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant subject or equivalent by experience
  • Significant experience of social work practice, ideally in a children and families setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
