About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Senior Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, leading a team of Occupational Therapists and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Occupational Therapy team in the delivery of patient care, ensuring that services are provided in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice, ensuring that interventions are effective and efficient.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff, promoting their professional development and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of the Occupational Therapy service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Recognised full qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum 3+ years post-grad experience in a community physical health setting.
  • Experience in supporting junior staff and working with complex cases.
  • Strong MDT working approach and evidence of outcome measures, audit, and evidence-based practice.
  • HCPC registration.
