Job Summary:
Adjusting Appointments Limited is seeking an experienced Property Claims Handler to join our Loss Adjusting Division. As a Property Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing the claims process with a customer focus, liaising with policyholders, and handling claims from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the claims process with a customer-centric approach, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of claims.
- Liaise with policyholders to gather information and validate claims, providing clear explanations of the claims process and expected outcomes.
- Handle claims from start to finish, including initial notification, investigation, and settlement.
- Work closely with the team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver a first-class service to policyholders.
- Manage complaints and concerns, escalating issues as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure compliance and excellence in claims handling.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in property claims handling, with a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with policyholders and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex claims issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple claims simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing support and assistance as needed.
