Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operative to join our team at Connect Appointments. As a Packaging Operative, you will be responsible for picking and packing products, monitoring quality control, and operating production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing of products with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitoring quality control of products and raw materials to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Operating production machinery and equipment safely and effectively
  • Working on a fast-paced production line with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Manual handling and weighing of products with care and precision
  • Performing other general warehouse and labourer duties as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment, preferably in a food production environment
  • Ability to safely and correctly stack goods on pallets for bulk shipments
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to spend long periods of time on your feet and work in a cold environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Excellent time keeping and ability to meet deadlines
