**Long-term Teachers** is seeking an experienced KS1 Class Teacher to join a fantastic Special Primary School in a beautiful location in West Bristol.

The school caters to students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs, and the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and creating a supportive classroom environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to support development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to promote student welfare and achievement.
  • Lead a class of 8 students with the support of 2 Teaching Assistants.

**Requirements:**

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with SEMH children, preferably within a UK setting.
  • Solid understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies for SEN children.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
