About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to join our client's team based at their Warwick offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end contractual life cycle and supplier relationships.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement the commercial contracting strategy for our client's interconnectors business.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the HVDC Engineering Team and provide support and best practices in Contract Management.
  • Contribute to the development of contract management maturity and improvement across the supply chain.

Main Job Functions:

  1. Oversee the business budget, including risk and contingencies across projects.
  2. Lead commercial negotiations on spot tenders or framework awards for HVDC Engineering.
  3. Evaluate and ensure contract compliance, providing assurance and training to the HVDC Engineering team.
  4. Perform quality assurance of contracts and deliver cost evaluation pre-contract.
  5. Provide support and data to the HVDC Engineering Team for board and regulatory reporting requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contract management in a construction and/or operational environment, including warranty management.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and supply chain management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with FastDraft and/or other contract management systems.

  • Estimated salary: £65,000 - £90,000 per annum.
