Priory Hospital Bristol is part of the Healthcare Division of Priory Group, one of the UK's leading providers of behavioural care and specialist support services. We are seeking a full-time Ward Manager to join our Mixed Acute Ward, which provides care for adults with mental health illnesses, predominantly psychosis, depression, personality disorders, and other diagnoses.

Job Requirements

To be successful as a Ward Manager at Priory, you will need:

  • A current registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council as a first-level nurse or the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • At least two years' experience in a supervisory capacity within a relevant care setting.
  • Appropriate registration or experience required for the ward.

As a Ward Manager, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for managing the nursing staff rota, acting as a highly visible role model, mentor, and leader, and undertaking clinical investigations and complaints.

The estimated salary for this position is £38,716-£43,000 per year, based on location and industry standards. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including a £3000 welcome bonus, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a contributory pension scheme.
