About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to undertake electrical repairs, testing, and installation works across a dedicated area, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and our Health and Safety Policy and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to produce accurate data records through PDA/mobile communication systems and reporting.

About You

The minimum qualification requirements for this role are:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation - Buildings & Structures)
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical systems and equipment (buildings, structures and the environment)
  • City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Theory and Practice Part 2
  • Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology

And

  • Electrical Installations BS7671 (18th Edition) if not delivered as part of one of the above courses
  • ECS Card - Gold (this can be obtained during probation)

The desirable qualifications for this role are:

  • Demonstrated competence in Inspection and Testing and obtained either:
    • Level 3 Certificate in the Certification of Electrical Installations (inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations)
    • Both the City & Guilds 2394 Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations and the City & Guilds 2395 Level 3 Award in the Periodic, Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.

This role is working Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Candidates must be able to facilitate working 1 in 4 week on the out of hours rota.
