As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading nursing colleagues and ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality patient care.
You will also be accountable for quality governance, patient experience, vulnerable people, infection prevention and control, and nursing workforce and education.
Main Responsibilities- To provide effective leadership and development of nursing within the division and other allocated areas.
- To assist the Chief Nurse with strategic and operational activities related to the nursing workforce and its roles, behaviour and structure.
- To ensure that fundamentals of care are delivered effectively within own allocated division and departments.
- To participate in the senior nurse rota and deputise for the Chief Nurse internally and externally.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Nursing or a health-related field.
- Registration as a Registered Nurse (Part 1, 2, 12) or Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or other Allied Health Profession degree.
- A teaching qualification or evidence of significant experience (recognised by the NMC).
The salary for this role is £88,168 to £101,677 per annum, depending on experience.
