Clinical Substance Abuse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Band 5 Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at HMP Chelmsford, where you will be part of a nurse-led service utilising all your clinical and interpersonal skills.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of patients with substance abuse issues. As a Nurse Specialist in Substance Misuse, you will work closely with patients to understand their needs and provide individualised care that addresses the root causes of their addiction.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that take into account the complex needs of each patient. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
The salary for this role is estimated to be between £28,407 and £34,581 per annum, depending on experience. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care to vulnerable populations and want to make a positive impact in your community, then we encourage you to apply.
