Event Coordinator for Community Events

We are a vibrant and dynamic hotel looking for an Event Coordinator to join our team. Our hotel is committed to providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Coordinator to support our Meetings & Events team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of events, including planning, organization, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment
- Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences
- Develop and implement event plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless event execution
- Maintain accurate records of events, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Hospitality or a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in event coordination or a related field
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
