Job Overview:
The Aspire Training Team is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an apprentice to complete their Level 3 Childcare qualification.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a friendly team at a fantastic setting, completing a Level 3 Childcare Qualification. As an apprentice, you will support with supervising children, helping with personal care, and planning activities. You will also be a support to the key members of the team, observing, getting to know the children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with supervising children and helping with personal care, including hand washing and toileting.
- Help with planning activities and be a support to the key members of the team, observing and getting to know the children and their families.
- Support with learning through play, focusing on the children's interests and developing flexible learning plans.
- Learn about the role and develop into a key person, with responsibilities including reporting and observations, and liaising with parents.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Childcare Qualification
- Clear DBS check
- Understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe
- GCSEs A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent
Working Hours:
- Minimum of 30 hours per week
- Term-time only
