About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team at Portfolio Payroll. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company, providing comprehensive financial services to our diverse client base.

As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations. You will also support the busy payroll department, handling high-volume payrolls and working closely with finance and HR teams to ensure seamless operations.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years' experience in payroll, preferably in a bureau setting, and excellent technical skills, including experience with payroll systems and Excel. A keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work within a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations
  • Support the busy payroll department, handling high-volume payrolls
  • Work closely with finance and HR teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
  • Ensure all necessary payments are made within deadlines set
