About the Role

We seek an Advanced Services Engineer to provide expert support, guidance, and assistance to account teams addressing specific customer needs. As a technology expert in Routing & Switching, you will design, implement, and troubleshoot deployments within customer infrastructures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced post-sales engineering support for Arista's Open Networking Data Center and Campus networking deployments.
  • Review customer network designs and make recommendations for EVPN, VxLAN, and leaf-spine architecture deployments.
  • Assist with configuration build-outs, including creating network provisioning automation using Python and tools like Chef or Ansible.
  • Support implementation and change controls.
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and in-depth testing to validate design scenarios.
  • Offer bug scrubs and code recommendations.
  • Translate complex business requirements into Leaf-Spine Network solutions.
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineers and Account Executives on designing network solutions.
  • Prioritize ongoing training and professional development to maintain expertise.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Network Industry Certification (e.g., ACE or CCIE) is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience with network technologies, including network design and deployments of Campus and Data Center networks.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical post-sales roles or as an Advanced Systems (AS) Engineer.
  • Proficiency in enterprise routing/switching, particularly with Arista/Juniper/Cisco products in large data center enterprise customers.
  • Strong background in Data Center related technologies (e.g., Openstack, SDN, NFV, Load Balancers, Virtualization, Linux tools).
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.


Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

This salary range is based on industry standards and national averages for similar positions in the United States.
