Job Title: Site Manager

Join WiseEnergy as a Site Manager and take on a challenging role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction, maintenance, and operation of our utility-scale solar parks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and compliant site visits, adhering to Construction and Asset Management agreements provisions and HSE rules.
  • Implement quality control and quality assurance measures for sites under construction and operation.
  • Develop and submit accurate and timely site visit reports.
  • Proactively manage issues reported from site visits to ensure swift resolution.
  • Optimize PR/availability per asset to maximize performance.
  • Ensure O&M and EPC providers meet contractual obligations.
  • Maintain HSE compliance and plant conditions.
  • Utilize insights and analysis to generate Annual Performance Optimization Plans, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
  • Ensure 100% security of assets, including CCTV systems.
  • Represent WiseEnergy's PDT and technical asset management service to clients.
  • Lead technical failures of main components.
  • Supervise punch list works before and after plant acquisitions and under construction.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors for project components installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and perform tracker and mechanical equipment maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and participate in meeting reviews to provide technical feedback.
  • Attend periodical meetings with the Technical Team at WiseEnergy offices.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of PV plant technical characteristics.
  • Experience in construction/maintenance of utility-scale solar parks, preferably as Site/Construction Manager/O&M Coordinator.
  • Good knowledge of UK technical and H&S legislation applied to PV plants.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Electronics, or equivalent through experience.
  • Right to work in the UK.
