Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the financial planning team, assisting with client research, report construction, and client contact. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to develop their skills and knowledge in financial planning and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Research: Conduct research to identify suitable solutions to meet client needs, including financial planning, investment, and protection.
- Report Construction: Compile draft net worth statements, income and expenditure statements, and financial cash flow forecasts.
- Client Contact: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the financial planning team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
- Technical Calculations: Perform technical calculations to support financial planning and investment recommendations.
- Financial Planning: Assist with the development of financial plans and suitability reports for clients.
- Compliance: Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years paraplanning experience.
- On route to completing Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning – DipPFS or equivalent.
- Working towards Chartered would be a bonus.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of financial planning software and systems.
