Drive Innovation in Clinical Trials with Our Team

We are partnering with a company that develops cutting-edge software solutions to manage clinical trials. They are making a vital contribution to healthcare by reducing risks, speeding up time to market, and improving overall outcomes for clinical trials. As they grow, they need an experienced Agile Healthcare Specialist to join their remote UK-based team.

About the Company:

The company has a strong presence in the clinical trials sector, with a team of around 70 including a tech team of 30. They are investing heavily in technology and expanding their teams to support the growing sector. Their mission is to develop software that improves risk management, data analysis, and speeds up the approval process for new medicines.

This role offers a chance to work with a skilled tech team, including Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps, and other Product Owners, in an Agile environment. The team has recently hired a Scrum Master to strengthen their Agile processes and is committed to further improvements as they scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the backlog and drive improvements for their core clinical systems, as well as potentially get involved in a project involving API data lakes and data warehouses initially.
  • Ensure that clinical industry knowledge and best practices are always at the forefront of development and provide insight to ensure the platform stays ahead in managing the complexities of clinical trial data.
  • Work closely with a fairly new development team, providing guidance, transferring knowledge, and offering empathetic support as they grow.
  • Offer strategic input and creative solutions to drive the product forward.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Clinical or Pharmaceutical Space: Ideally, you've worked as a Product Owner in the clinical, pharmaceutical, or health tech sectors.
  • Agile Expertise: You have hands-on experience working in an Agile environment and are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Empathetic Leadership: Beyond technical expertise, we need someone who is a great communicator, can support the development team, and helps foster a collaborative culture.
  • Creative Problem-Solver: We value someone who can think critically and offer innovative solutions to drive the product forward.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of up to £70,000, flexible remote work options, and occasional fully-funded team meet-ups. This is a brilliant time to join the company as they continue their rapid expansion and heavy investment in technology.
