Job Title: Academy Service Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academy Service Advisor to join our team in Maldon.

Job Summary:

As an Academy Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security, cleanliness, and maintenance of our school buildings and grounds. You will be responsible for managing security, cleanliness, and maintenance tasks across the Academy premises, including janitorial services, grounds maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring the overall safety and appearance of the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site inductions for contractors and assist with inspections under the guidance of senior leadership and Health and Safety consultants.
  • Perform minor repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, general repairs, and maintenance of grounds not covered by external contractors.
  • Set up portable sports facilities, clear litter and debris from grass areas, shrub borders, and paths. Assist in seasonal duties such as gritting paths during snow or ice.
Requirements:
  • Experience in building security, maintenance, or similar roles is desirable.
  • Practical skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or grounds maintenance.
