About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at an unknown company. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our care home buildings and grounds.

Your primary focus will be on creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. This will involve a range of tasks, from fixing leaky taps to planting new bulbs in the gardens. You should be comfortable working independently, leading a team, and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning.

You will also be responsible for liaising with contractors on jobs that fall outside the expertise of your team. Your ability to work sensitively with our residents and their needs will be paramount.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have hands-on experience of property maintenance, with at least one trade skill. Ideally, you will have a proven ability to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks. You should be reliable, flexible, and have a full UK driving licence. IT literacy and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) are also essential.
