Cardiology Technician

• Perform electrocardiograms on inpatients and outpatients with high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
• Apply Holter monitors and educate patients on their use, ensuring they understand the importance of proper usage.
• Edit EKG reports and transcribe Holter and echocardiogram reports with attention to detail and precision.
• Collaborate with registered nurses (RNs) to assist with stress and nuclear testing, providing exceptional patient care.
• Train new staff members on equipment operation and procedures, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Schedule cardiology testing and input medical data for billing with precision and accuracy.
• Prepare unedited EKG reports for cardiologist interpretation, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain and clean equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
• Transport patients for testing with compassion and care.

Qualifications: A vocational or technical degree and six months of job-related experience or equivalent are required.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
