Job Title: Postperson with Driving

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the region.

About the Role:

This is a permanent contract position, working 30 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that includes working 5 days across Monday to Sunday. You will be required to work Saturdays and one in three Sundays on a rota basis.

As a Postperson with Driving, you will be the face of Royal Mail Group, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our customers receive their mail and packages on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver mail and packages to customers across the region
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Meet and exceed customer service standards

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Upbeat, independent and self-motivated
  • Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service
  • Think of yourself as a people-person and a friendly face in the community
  • Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
  • Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
  • Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
