The Role

ABL 1Touch has experienced significant growth over the years, and we are committed to maintaining our high standards as we continue to expand. We are seeking a skilled and diligent individual to join our dynamic team as a key member in our operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient delivery and collection of customer vehicles in accordance with our Driver Procedure & Responsibilities Manual and Drivers Process Manual.
  • Representing our company with a professional image, adhering to our standard uniform policy at all times.
  • Maintaining a proactive approach to day planning, working effectively, and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Moving vehicles in and out of the workshop at the start or end of the day.
  • Cleaning customer or courtesy cars as necessary.
  • Locating and moving vehicles for salvage agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safe delivery and collection of all customer vehicles, with prior contact made with each customer before arrival.
  • Completing all Job Pack paperwork accurately and legibly, obtaining signatures where required.
  • Documenting any damage on vehicles with a chalk pen before capturing images.
  • Ensuring the Customer Vehicle Condition Report is complete, along with any images taken, before passing to Estimators.
  • Adhering to all procedures outlined in the Drivers Procedure and Process Manuals.
  • Complying with the Drivers Tacho Break Regulation 2009, if applicable.
  • Managing Policy Excess, VAT Bills, and Private Quotes, ensuring payment has been taken before leaving the site. If payment has not been made, querying with the Transport Manager.
  • Ensuring courtesy cars meet the required standards and are safe for customer use, reporting any defects or damage to the Transport Manager immediately.
  • Addressing customer complaints in accordance with our established procedures.

Requirements:

  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, with a valid driver's license.
