Main Responsibilities- Practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for substance use within Forensic Services, utilizing evidence-based and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Lead the development and delivery of training packages for Secure Services staff, providing input into their delivery alongside other multidisciplinary team members.
- Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of substance use interventions, utilizing advanced clinical skills and knowledge in evidence-based interventions.
- Provide clinical leadership for staff through management supervision and training, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Work closely with third sector organizations, such as Narcotics Anonymous, to deliver joint interventions and promote recovery-based models.

Requirements- Registered nurse: RMN/RGN
- Experience of working with individuals diagnosed with a SMI and personality disorder
- Good knowledge of recovery-based models within drug/alcohol use
- Excellent knowledge of drug/alcohol treatment systems that make up an integrated recovery model
