Job Title: Media Investment Manager

Omnicom Media Group is seeking a highly skilled Media Investment Manager to join our team. As a Media Investment Manager, you will play a vital role in driving value creation and monitoring media buying commitments for our global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and influence media buying performance/value improvements across global markets to ensure delivery against commitments.
  • Manage a portfolio of global clients and fulfill Media Investment Brief objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the global media community, external media auditors, and clients.
  • Track and align media auditing with external Media Auditors like Ebiquity and MediaSense.
  • Support the team on global pitches and provide market communications and updates.
  • Assist local markets with queries and contract confirmations.
  • Manage processes, design reporting templates, and be an expert on deliverables, targets, methodology, value optimization, and delivery.
  • Compile buying results and ad hoc reporting for clients and auditors.
  • Support associate directors and business directors in refining and crafting media KPIs for clients and managing their delivery.
  • Create project builds, such as new inflation models, on a monthly basis.
  • Line manage analysts and senior analysts, including training and onboarding.
  • Track and capture media product usage across client portfolios.
  • Support directors in active value management and optimization of results to deliver commitments while limiting over-delivery.
  • Hold weekly face-to-face meetings with your team.
  • Work with systems like Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and sometimes Tableau and GMP365.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding and interest in media measurement metrics, KPIs, and market pricing dynamics across all media.
  • Enquiring mind to push boundaries and create new approaches.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to explain complicated concepts with clarity.
  • Experience in supervising or managing one or more junior team members.
  • International media experience ideal but not essential.
  • Experience at a media auditor, in a local market agency media buying, or within an International Media Investment/Trading/Accountability team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and well-established organizational and analytical skills.
  • Highly numerate, expert in value methodology, and highly competent in Excel.
