Sign Installer Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sign Installer to join our team at HR Employment Ltd on a 12-week temp to perm contract. As a Sign Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of various point of sale and signage systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in installation work, preferably within a similar environment, and possess excellent technical skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. They should also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

This role involves working on weekends and nights away from home when required. A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum is offered, with an uplift in pay for weekends and nights when taken on perm. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work collaboratively with our team to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Installation of point of sale and signage systems according to specifications and guidelines.
  • Ensuring all installations are completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of installed products to ensure functionality and quality.
  • Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the installation process and providing effective solutions.
  • Maintaining accurate records of installations and reporting any discrepancies or concerns to management.
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing client queries and concerns professionally.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in installation work, preferably within a similar environment.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • A valid UK driver's licence is essential.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment relevant to installation tasks is advantageous.
  • IPAF Ticket would be an advantage but not essential.
