We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our team in Glasgow as a Lead Forensic Planning Manager. This role will involve managing a team of delay analysts, contributing to expert report writing, and providing specialist delay and forensic advice to clients.

About the Role
  • Manage a team of delay analysts working on complex projects
  • Contribute sections to expert report writing
  • Provide specialist delay and forensic advice to external clients

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on domestic and international projects, develop your skills in delay analysis, and progress towards becoming a delay expert.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage a team of delay analysts on multiple concurrent projects
  • Develop and pursue claims up or down the supply chain
  • Critically analyse project and major programme performance, identifying root cause of issues
  • Lead development of a contract and commercial strategy to recover performance of distressed projects or programmes
  • Provide effective stakeholder management with clients and other advisors
  • Happy to coach and train delay analysis team members

The ideal candidate will have around 15 years of experience within delay, planning, and related construction and engineering industry experience.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Degree level education in a construction-related field or similar equivalent qualification is desired
  • Relevant MSc in engineering and/or Construction Law and Disputes LLM is desirable
