Located at our new GMP Manufacturing facility, the Maintenance Planner and Scheduler plays a pivotal role in the effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of all maintenance activities. Your efforts ensure that maintenance work is planned, scheduled, and executed safely, supporting the uptime and reliability of our process and support equipment.
- Develop and manage the maintenance schedule to ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
- Supervise external contractors and ensure compliance with Moderna's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of spare parts and materials.
- Lead the planning of shutdowns, turnarounds, and outages with effective resource allocation.
- Support the development and control of the maintenance budget and participate in internal and external audits related to maintenance activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certification in maintenance planning and scheduling, such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or similar, is advantageous.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in using CMMS (ideally Maximo) and other maintenance planning tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Technical understanding of maintenance work processes and the ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings.
- Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and experience in implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop solutions to enhance maintenance operations and equipment reliability.
