About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join our team in a Medium Secure setting at Wathwood Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to patients with complex mental health and offending behavior needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to inform treatment plans and risk management strategies
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address criminogenic factors and promote patient recovery
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of specialist treatment programs
  • Engage in service evaluation and research to promote excellence in care
Requirements
  • Registered with the HCPC as a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist
  • Experience working in a secure mental health setting or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and CPD
