Job Summary

dnata Catering UK is seeking an experienced Equipment Operations Manager to oversee the smooth running of the Equipment Supply function in our Glasgow unit.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that equipment ordering, washing, packing, storage, and issuing are managed effectively within the operation.

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and delegate tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Control: Ensure all equipment costs are achieved to target and organize activities to meet schedule targets.
  • Scheduling: Plan and schedule holidays, rosters, and work schedules to maximize productivity.
  • Yield Management: Implement effective yield testing to verify theoretical yields and ensure identified best practices are applied.
  • Contingency Planning: Design and review contingency plans when changes to assembly are required.
  • Wastage Management: Ensure effective wastage management through documentation completion, reviewing documentation, and taking corrective action.
  • Performance Management: Manage the performance of your team to achieve targets and seek further productivity improvements.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including airlines, HMC&E, DfT/CAA, auditors, contractors, and EHO.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
