About the Role

We are looking for a Professor of Probability to join our faculty at Durham University. The successful applicant will have a strong background in probability theory and a proven ability to lead research projects.

The Professor of Probability will be responsible for:

  • Developing and applying advanced probabilistic models to real-world problems.
  • Mentoring and supervising PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.
  • Contributing to department administration and wider university activities.

The position comes with an estimated salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
