Job Title: Law Reporter

We are seeking a highly skilled Law Reporter to join our team at PA Media Group. As a key member of our news team, you will be responsible for producing accurate, fast, and impartial reports on legal cases and judgments.

About the Role

You will be part of a small team dedicated to delivering high-quality written coverage of the Royal Courts of Justice and the Supreme Court. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly respected news reporting organisation that values speed, accuracy, and impartiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and well-written reports on legal cases and judgments
  • Conduct research and gather information from various sources
  • Work closely with other reporters and correspondents to cover complex legal stories
  • Plan and coordinate coverage of significant legal cases

Requirements

  • Extensive experience of reporting to agency/daily newspaper level
  • A strong understanding of media law
  • Minimum 100wpm shorthand
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • NCTJ or equivalent qualification
