Job Title: Production Equipment Technician

CV-Library has an exciting opportunity for a Production Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team in Sevenoaks, UK. This is a full-time role with rotational shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and maintain plant equipment during production shifts
  • Perform both reactive and preventive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to execute maintenance schedules and implement plant improvements
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments for systems like steam, compressed air, and hydraulics
  • Support engineering projects and contribute ideas for operational enhancements
  • Ensure consistent staffing levels by covering shifts when needed

Requirements:

  1. A recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering (e.g., ONC, NVQ Level 3)
  2. Proven experience in both preventive and reactive maintenance
  3. Knowledge of welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics is desirable
  4. A safety-conscious mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively

Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum
