About Alzheimer's Society

Our mission is to power a society that transforms the lives of people affected by dementia. We're committed to achieving this vision through our fundraising efforts, and we're seeking an individual to join our team as a Dementia Fundraising Liaison.

The role involves volunteering with our Fundraising teams to raise awareness in local communities and assist supporters in raising funds. You'll help identify potential new supporters, build brand awareness, and inspire people in your area to know more about dementia. As a Liaison, you'll engage with our supporters through various activities such as attending events, cheque presentations, and helping with bucket collections.

According to recent estimates, around 10,000 people are living with dementia in Essex. This number does not account for the thousands of caregivers who also require support. By joining our team, you'll play a crucial role in connecting with the community, raising vital funds, and increasing awareness of our cause, ultimately providing Help and Hope to those in need.
