About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Casual AMHP to join our Emergency Duty Team. As a Casual AMHP, you will play a vital role in supporting the service by covering annual leave, training, or unexpected absences from the team.

The Emergency Duty Team provides an emergency social work service out of hours, hosted by Central Bedfordshire Council, and serves Bedford Borough Council and Luton Borough Council. Our team responds to emergency social care and Mental Health Act Assessments that arise out of hours, ensuring the immediate protection and safeguarding of children, young people, and adults at risk of harm.

As a Casual AMHP, you will be responsible for undertaking Mental Health Act Assessments out of hours and will receive a retain rate for the shift. You will be part of a dedicated team that values flexibility and commitment.
