Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Residential Administrator at Gold Care Homes. We are seeking an organized and efficient individual who can provide exceptional administrative support to our care home staff.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including general reception duties, correspondence, payroll processing, and record-keeping. They will also provide typing support, coordinate meetings, and maintain accurate records of residents' documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Home Manager and Deputy Manager
  • Manage correspondence, telephone enquiries, and reception duties
  • Process payroll, prepare timesheets, and submit summaries relating to payroll
  • Maintain accurate records of residents' documentation, including financial contracts, invoices, and payments
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and ensure timely submission of reports
  • Support the recruitment process for new employees, ensuring all paperwork and relevant documentation is complete
  • Sort and distribute mail, coordinate duty rota, and liaise with Bank and Agency staff when required
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role or administration
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
