Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily liaison with office staff to ensure all relevant information is entered into Attendance and Admissions systems.
  • Ensuring these systems are up-to-date and correct.
  • Admissions process for the school, acting as the school's Admissions Officer.
  • Key person responsible for pupil admissions in accordance with the LA/school admissions policy.
  • Working alongside key school staff and the LA Attendance and Safeguarding teams to reduce levels of unauthorised absence and promote whole school attendance strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a busy school or college environment.
  • A real passion for working within an education environment.
  • Experience utilising SIMS (School Information Management System) within an administrative role.
