We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor (ATE) to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Newport, South Wales. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing a range of production processes and ensuring that we meet our manufacturing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of Technicians and Assemblers, including hiring, training, resource allocation, and performance management.
  • Plan and execute production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and optimal efficiency.
  • Perform regular performance reviews and provide development opportunities for team members.
  • Responsible for day-to-day technical work and manufacturing activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities and prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
  • Administer manufacturing procedures and budgets.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are met and promote a culture of safety awareness and proactive behaviors.
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics.
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformances, manufacturing faults, quality events, and process flaws.


Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in production team leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Experience in coordinating build issues and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve technical problems and perform data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, presentation, and people skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP or MFG database and knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes.


What We Offer:

This position offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus benefits including annual leave, contributory pension scheme, cash health plan, cycle to work scheme, global bonus plan, share scheme, rewards scheme, life assurance, and overtime premiums.
