Examination Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Examination Expert to join our team at Pearson. As an International Advanced Level Examiner, you will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of subject knowledge in Further Pure Mathematics and be able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines. You will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
  • Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
  • Ensure all administration is completed as specified

Requirements:

  • One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years
  • A degree or equivalent
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A high level of subject knowledge in Further Pure Mathematics
