Job Description:

As a SEMHA Teaching Assistant at Academics LTD, you will play a critical role in supporting young people with mental health challenges to overcome barriers to learning.

You will be working closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide emotional support and guidance to students in a challenging environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with mental health challenges
  • Providing emotional support and guidance
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with youth and in education
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
