Finance Assistant / School Finance Admin Assistant

A dynamic and supportive finance team in Lewisham is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their ranks. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support to the Finance Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of financial systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payment
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve outstanding payments and chase invoices
  • Input financial data into school systems, including invoices, petty cash, income, and procurement
  • Ensure adherence to financial systems and procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team
Requirements:
  • Experience in a finance-based role or a graduate with a relevant degree
  • Thorough and detail-oriented with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to use initiative and work independently
  • Confident and clear communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to handle confidential information discreetly
Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time, term-time only position, working 39 weeks of the year. The working hours are 08:30am - 16:30pm, with parking available on site.
