Computacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, and we are seeking a Content Quality Assurance Manager to join our team.

The Translation Service is a global function responsible for ensuring accurate, impactful, and consistent translated content across languages. As the Content Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing articles, reports, marketing materials, and other written content.

This role will suit someone who is experienced in Copy Editing and reviewing other people's written work. Previous IT industry experience isn't essential, but you should have a desire to work in an autonomous role, taking responsibility for your performance and driving up quality at every step.

Main Responsibilities

  • Content editing and quality assurance: Proofread and edit content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style consistency.
  • Identify and correct inconsistencies and errors in content.
  • Fully translate certain document types which cannot be machine translated.
  • Work closely with writers and other editors to refine and improve content.
  • Provide constructive feedback to writers to enhance the quality of their work.
  • Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Your Background

  • Fluent in French.
  • Strong portfolio of edited written work.
  • Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Ability to learn about the language from new areas, technologies or industries.
  • Proficiency in using editorial and proofreading tools (e.g., Microsoft suite, Grammarly).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Salary and Benefits

Our salary range for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer opportunities for career growth and development, as well as a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme and comprehensive training program.
