CAPEX Buyer Opportunity at Croda

We are seeking a skilled CAPEX Buyer to join our team at Croda, a global leader in speciality chemicals. As a CAPEX Buyer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing procurement strategies for a portfolio of CAPEX Goods and Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial negotiation of CAPEX contracts, including supplier sourcing, bid facilitation, price negotiation, and terms and conditions.
  • Contract execution, risk mitigation, and supplier performance management.
  • Collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to ensure delivery of optimum commercial outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in CAPEX procurement activities.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills.
  • An excellent communicator, capable of building effective internal and external working relationships.
  • Understanding of key contract clauses and ability to negotiate to minimise business risk exposure.
