We are seeking an Employability Tutor to join our team at Oldbury. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of £22,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive learning environment that helps students develop their abilities, skills, and confidence. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of students;
• Ensuring Functional Skills are integrated into all lessons;
• Regularly assessing student work against awarding body and Ofsted criteria;
• Providing individualized support and guidance to students throughout their learning journey.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A teaching qualification (minimum PTLLS) and experience of delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English to Level 2;
• An assessing qualification (Full TAQA or V1);
• Experience working with students aged 14-19; and
• A clear understanding of Ofsted and the Education Inspection Framework.
