Job Summary:

NXT Recruitment is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Business IT Support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients in the Cumbria area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and migration projects
  • Server hardware maintenance and configuration
  • Operating backup systems and Microsoft Server Operating systems
  • Azure Cloud Services and Microsoft 365
  • VOIP / Hosted Telephony and Virtualisation
  • Network cabling and VPN Networking
  • Network security and problem-solving
  • Occasional office-based duties such as solving IT queries and issues via remote and 1st line support

Requirements:

  • Experience in a 3rd line support role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Good knowledge of IP networking and excellent hardware, software, and network knowledge
  • A full clean driving license and willingness to travel across the Cumbria area
