We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions. As a Dental Nurse, you will provide clinical and administrative support to the Dental Officer, enabling the maintenance of the surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and administrative support to the Dental Officer
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, perform reception duties, and handle documents
- Operate the dental computing system, process radiographs, and maintain equipment
- Work in the central sterilization area and ensure compliance with GDC Principles and Standards
- Manage patient appointments, dental records, and stock control
- Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) without restrictions
- Valid suitable and appropriate indemnity insurance with a recognized dental defense organization
- Completed GDC highly recommended Continuing Professional Development (CPD) including medical emergencies and radiation protection
- Trained and current in emergency and resuscitation procedures
- Completed additional health clearance checks for clinicians required to perform Exposure Prone Procedures
- Previous Ministry of Defence (MoD) experience
- Hold a Dental Nurse qualification
