About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network environments using Palo Alto Networks technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and configure Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security solutions to protect our network infrastructure from emerging threats.
  • Monitor network traffic and security events to detect and respond to potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and maintain security policies, rules, and configurations to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to develop and implement secure network architectures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders on network security issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threat intelligence to proactively address security challenges.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama, and related security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles, including firewall policies, VPNs, IPS/IDS, and threat prevention.
  • Hands-on experience with security incident response and management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
  • Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) are highly desirable.
