About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen to ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the hotel's recipes and standards.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring they are fully competent in their roles.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new menu items and refine existing dishes.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary to ensure your section has everything needed for service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for the quality control of ingredients and finished products.
  • Participate in regular kitchen meetings and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, with at least 2 years in a restaurant or similar establishment.
  • Strong culinary skills, with a deep understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide junior chefs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene practices.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
