Senior Data Insights Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Insights Specialist to join our Development team in Kent. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business decisions with data-driven insights.
Job Summary
This is a 1-year fixed-term contract as maternity cover for our existing Data Analyst position. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver relevant analysis to support key decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, distribute, and maintain reports, visualizations, and dashboards using Tableau and Excel.
- Mine data and perform deep analysis across all game systems to determine and remedy pain-points in player engagement.
- Provide meaningful metrics around game usage and game performance to teams across the business.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver relevant analysis to support business decisions.
- Work with data and gameplay engineering teams to implement and maintain reporting data flows.
- Support the wider team in making use of shared data resources in Tableau.
What We're Looking For
- In-depth knowledge and experience of Tableau Desktop.
- SQL skills, including experience querying large, complex data sets.
- Previous experience with Alteryx Designer is beneficial.
- Prior experience working in an AWS/GCP environment, including experience using BigQuery/Redshift as a data source is beneficial.
- Previous experience in the computer games industry is beneficial.
- A self-starter with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
